Thurrock Lawn Tennis Club's big night

TENNIS: THURROCK Lawn Tennis Club’s annual meeting takes place on March 8 at the Social Club in Crammavill Street at 8pm.
The Club’s presentation of awards takes place immediately afterwards. And awards are being made by Ray Smallcombe..
News from the club is that the courts are to be cleaned and resprayed in March ready for the new season. The Veolia Mardyke Trust have awarded the club a grant to help with cleaning.
At present group coaching is very popular on Saturdays and as the nights draw out coaching will resume during the week. There is junior involvement in competitions in Thurrock as well as LTA sanctioned events.
Internal ratings competitions are planned as are Summer Schools.
